Winter Warm Up Sessions

If you would welcome a warm space and some company this winter, Parish Halls RSA are hosting free winter warm up sessions at Rushmere Village Hall. Thanks to the Cost of Living Winter Grant Fund from East Suffolk Council we are able to offer you a warm space, free hot refreshments, porridge, cereal and snacks at our weekly Saturday drop in sessions. All are welcome and there is no need to book.

The sessions are being held at Rushmere Village Hall, Humber Doucy Lane, IP4 3PD every Saturday 9-11am up to and including 30 March. Although please note the session on 17 February will be held 2-4pm.

Craft Destash Fundraising Event

On Saturday, 24 February, between 10am-2pm, Tower Hall (5 Broadlands Way, IP4 5SU) will once again be full of crafting supplies including fabric, yarn, patterns, knitting needles, dolls and much more, all at bargain prices. The event is supporting East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices however we will also have stalls supporting St Elizabeth Hospice selling fabric with us again.

Monthly Craft Group

A Crafty Yarn will continue to meet throughout 2024 at Tower Hall on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7pm. It’s a space to bring along a craft project such as knitting, crochet, weaving, colouring, paper crafts, beads, cross stitch etc, and enjoy an evening of crafting and inspiration.

Everyone is welcome and there’s no need to book. Each month we also have a pop-up shop from Woolly Crafts for topping up yarn and pattern supplies. Entry cost is £3 which includes refreshments. The next few dates for your diary are 27 February and 26 March.

For further information about our events or if you would like to hire either of our halls (Rushmere Village Hall or Tower Hall) for a family celebration, quiz night, children’s party or for regular group meetings/classes, please contact us.
