October Half-Term Events and Activities
Apple Week
Saturday 21 – Sunday 29 October
This October Half-Term we are celebrating apples with a week of apple pressing, juice making, baking workshops and apple-themed activities for all the family. Visitors will have the chance to increase their apple knowledge and taste a wide variety of apples and juices from local orchards. Every day during the week there’ll be apple pressing workshops and apple-based food and drink tasters in the Bone Building. During the week we will also have special apple-themed editions of our regular Toddler Time and Forest School sessions, as well as apple cake baking workshops. On National Apple Day, Saturday, 21 October, we will have a special day of activities, free with entry to the museum. See: www.foodmuseum.org.uk for details
