The Forget Me Not Cafe has continued to get busy over the last few months. Anyone with memory problems, suffering from communication difficulties or has a diagnosis of Dementia is made to feel very welcome but must be accompanied.
We offer crafts, various games, and plenty of other pastimes to enjoy with brilliant support from our band of volunteers. Sing along sessions have become a regular highlight when we have a visiting entertainer.
Many games are enjoyed such as Bingo, and Banannagram but the greatest favourite is Dominos, this has proved very popular with the men and it is amazing to see how individuals have responded to this game.
The Cafe is held every Wednesday from 9.30am – 12.30pm in Kesgrave Community Centre.
On Wednesday, 8 May we are going to ‘The Hut’ in Felixstowe for the day where we will have a Fish and Chip lunch and afternoon tea.
