Your local community pub – The Duke of Marlborough, Somersham

Welcome to the Duke of Marlborough in Somersham; a community pub, open Wednesday to Sunday with a friendly atmosphere and warm welcome. We offer delicious freshly prepared food, well-kept ales, and a great range of bar drinks, as well as a variety regular events to keep things interesting!

In April, food kicks off with our monthly Saturday brunch from 9am–12noon on Saturday, 1 April. Every Friday and Saturday night we serve pub classics and weekly changing specials, and of course roast lunches on a Sunday; don’t forget to book early for Easter Sunday (9 April), it’s sure to be busy! And for those with younger ones, every Saturday from 4.30pm children can eat for £1, when purchased alongside an adult main.

This month our Food Truck Thursday takes place on 13 April, when we welcome Coconut and Lime Caribbean Truck; eat in at the pub or take it home, it’s up to you. In April you have two quizzes to choose from: our regular monthly quiz on the first Thursday of the month, as well as a Film and Music Quiz Night on Saturday, 15 April. Advance booking is highly recommended for both.

On Thursday, 20 April we have our monthly Book Club, and why not join us to celebrate St George’s weekend on Friday, 21 April and Saturday, 22 April? As always, we round off the month with live music; a new monthly Jam Night starts on Thursday, 27 April, followed by L.T.P. Duo performing on Saturday, 29 April. And don’t forget we host a darts night every Wednesday, we’re a friendly bunch so do come and say hi!
