We are a small team of army veterans from the Grenadier Guards aiming to achieve a massive challenge during August 2025.
We will walk the great county of Suffolk starting from Clare in the West and finishing at Lowestoft in the East paying our respects to some of Suffolk’s fallen Grenadiers, many who have paid the ultimate price.
The Suffolk Grenadiers 100/25 team will cover 130 miles (209km) in total of which 105 miles will be done on foot.
We will lay wreaths at the Gravesides of four Suffolk Grenadiers and remember 37 others named on memorials with poppy crosses and a spoken transcript remembering each one.
Our objective is to raise as much money as we can for our regimental charity, the Colonel’s Fund.
In essence, we are remembering Grenadiers who no longer walk with us, celebrating Grenadiers who are still walking with us, and also those who will be supporting us from the start to the finish, either with sponsorship, donations, or providing hospitality throughout the venture.
