Suffolk Book League

On Wednesday, 19 April the Suffolk Book League welcomes local children’s author Sophie Green, author of the popular Potkin and Stubbs spooky detective series.

Originally trained as a zoologist, Sophie is interested in urban legends and folklore. In 2020 Potkin and Stubbs was shortlisted for the Crime Fest Best Crime Novel for Children and the Concorde Book Award.

Sophie’s other career is as a librarian for Suffolk Libraries and she works to promote children’s literature and Reading for Pleasure in her home county, Suffolk.

Doors open at the Ipswich Institute Reading Room and Library, 15 Tavern Street, IP1 3AA at 7pm with the event starting at 7.30pm. Tickets, £5 for Suffolk Book League members, and £10 for non-members can be obtained via the League’s website:
