Keep Stowmarket Tidy Week was seven exciting days of community action
to clean up our lovely town. Back by popular demand, our Stowmarket
Superheroes returned for a week-long fancy dress litter picking adventure.
Facilitated by Stowmarket Town Council, countless superheroes donned their capes and fought the scoundrel of litter.
As well as litter picking, we talked about how people can reduce the waste
they produce, the harm that litter does to animals, the crisp packet recycling scheme at Red Gables, and showcased two of our regular superheroes and amazing young people, Robin and Jack.
A massive thank you to everyone who took part, you’ve had a really positive impact on Stowmarket. Further thanks go to Mid Suffolk District Council for donating their rubbish bags to us for our volunteers.
