Welcome back to Mid Suffolk’s leading business expo! The Mid-Suffolk Business Exhibition is back as an in-person event. See you there! After two years online, the Mid-Suffolk Business Exhibition is back “in real life”, and it’s a fantastic opportunity to learn more about the amazing variety of businesses, entrepreneurs and local talent in and around Suffolk.
Even though we’re all used to working online, there’s no doubt that business relationships really benefit from making in-person contact, putting faces to names and bonding over shared goals and interests. If you’re based locally, the Mid-Suffolk Business Exhibition is the perfect opportunity to connect with other organisations operating in the area – and hopefully to forge profitable connections!
As well as an amazing range of local exhibitors – from HR professionals to experts in making your business carbon neutral – there will be representatives from official bodies to help you if you’re looking to start a new enterprise or to connect your own company with local government (and you don’t need to make an appointment to talk to them!).
Have you heard about the Innovate to Elevate scheme, a business accelerator programme in conjunction with the University of Essex? Babergh and Mid Suffolk Council will have people on hand to talk about this, as well as their other funding and business support initiatives.
Anglia Growth Hub will also be offering grants and funding information. If you’re interested in becoming a supplier to Suffolk County Council, you’ll be able to speak to the authority’s procurement department.
Organiser Sarah Manning of Stowmarket Chambers is eager to welcome you. “There is so much talent in Suffolk and the range of businesses across the region is amazing. This opportunity to bring so many businesses together to connect and show what they can do is a great for exhibitors and visitors alike. It is a sign of how much small businesses appreciate the chance to meet and network that the Safari Networking event we have planned is already sold out. We’re expecting a fantastic turnout on the day, so we’re actively encouraging visitors to book well in advance.”
So come down to The Mix in Stowmarket on the morning of 29 March and see for yourself the tremendous talent working in and around the local area. Businesses and consumers are all welcome, and entry is free. Refreshments will be available both in the exhibition hall and at the venue’s café, with all profits going to The Mix, a charity dedicated to improving the lives of young people in Mid-Suffolk.
