Royal Hospital School Celebrate String of Award Titles

The Royal Hospital School (RHS) in Holbrook, Ipswich, is celebrating after being crowned winner in the AMCIS Impact Awards and named as a finalist a the BSA Awards and highly commended at the Muddy Stilettos Awards.

RHS has been named as the winner in the Communications Impact category by the AMCIS (Admissions, Marketing and Communications in Independent Schools) Impact Awards 2022. The ‘Made in RHS’ campaign, which followed alumni achievements in traditional and online communication tactics such as podcasts, editorials and advertisements was recognised as the most outstanding institution in the independent sector for its communications impact.

RHS is also privileged to be a finalist in the ‘Working with Vulnerable Children’ category at the BSA (Boarding School’s Association) Awards, which is a testament to the achievements, hard work, and dedication of schools and individuals boarding. The ‘Working with Vulnerable Children Award’ recognises that protecting and working with vulnerable children who board requires an in-depth understanding and an ability to approach each child’s situation in a unique way to best assist them.

Finally, RHS has also been highly commended at the Muddy Stilettos Best Schools Awards 2022 in the ‘Most innovative technology-led teaching’ category. RHS is a leading EdTech 50 School at the forefront of Edtech practice, excelling in technology-led teaching to prepare pupils for the workplace.

Sophy Walker, Director of Marketing and Communications said: “I am delighted that the school has been recognised with a string of awards, especially for its commitment to boarding excellence and its leading use of technology. These awards looked at the period of time when the whole country was in lockdown, so it is a huge accolade for our staff, who worked incredibly hard throughout the pandemic to ensure pupils’ educational environment continued to thrive.

“Winning the AMCIS Impact Awards 2022 is a huge accolade for the Marketing and Alumni Team, recognising their outstanding communication campaign #RHSMadeMe, which involved RHS alumni.”
