Revised Public Transport Services in Claydon & Barham

Service 88  Ipswich – Claydon – Needham Market – Stowmarket

Since 26 March, the following hourly timetable has applied on the present 88 route.

Monday to Saturday:

Claydon (Crown layby) to Ipswich.

Departures at 17 minutes past each hour from 08.17 until 18.17.

Ipswich (Old Cattle Market Bus Station Stand D) to Claydon and Stowmarket.

Departures at 45 minutes past each hour from 07.45 until 17.45.

Claydon (Greyhound) to Needham Market and Stowmarket.

Departures at 6 minutes past each hour from 08.06 until 18.06.

Service 113/114  Ipswich – Claydon – Barham – Eye – Diss.

Since 8 April, the published Saturday timetable applies Monday to Saturday. This means that the ‘Barham loop’ via Edinburgh Gardens will receive a better service Monday to Friday.

Since 25 March, all town and country services have operated to the Saturday timetable Monday to Saturday.

Since 30March Greater Anglia has operated an hourly mainline service from Norwich to Ipswich, Colchester and London Liverpool Street, plus the hourly service from Ipswich to London which calls at major stations.

Local services from Ipswich will operate to their current timetables with the exception of a few early morning journeys.

National Express has withdrawn all coach services since 3 April.

These changes are not necessarily the only ones which will apply during this period and, of course, we have no idea yet of a resumption date of ‘normal’ services. Please note the government’s advice on travel.

Keep well!

Transport Representative, Claydon and Whitton Parish Council
