Would you like somewhere to have a cuppa and a friendly chat with like-minded people? Then please join us on a Friday afternoon each week at Coffee Space 2-3.30pm at Tower Hall, Broadlands Way, Rushmere St Andrew, IP4 5SU. We have been meeting for almost three years and numbers are steadily growing. Not everyone comes each week but that doesn’t matter, join us when you can. Unlike other organisations who close down for the summer holidays, we don’t. We carry on all year only breaking for two weeks around Christmas and New Year. You can play board games or help make puzzles, do word searches or just sit and chat with others. Refreshments are free and there is no membership fee either. Occasionally we may have a group come to entertain us. If you are on your own or with a friend or partner you will all be made welcome. We look forward to seeing you.
Messy Church meets on the second Sunday in each month at the same venue 3-4.30pm. Crafts of all kinds, videos and singing together with refreshments, are available free to all who attend. There is a different theme each month and the programme is for all ages. We shall resume on 8 September with ‘I am the Way the Truth and the Life’ and continue on 13 October, 10 November and 8 December with more ‘I am’ sayings of Jesus from Johns gospel.
Our Annual Carol Service takes place on 15 December, more details nearer the time.
