Manningtree Methodist Church

Rev Tom Osborne from the Manningtree Methodist Church updates us on their services

south street, Manningtree co11 1bQ

Minister: The Rev Tom Osborne, 01206 396654

By the time this goes to print, we shall have hopefully re-started Sunday services in our building. It is likely it will continue to be rather different in style to much of the worship that has taken place there over the past 200 and more years since it first opened, but it will still be worship.

Which is not to say that worship isn’t possible outside of church buildings – it most certainly is! However, it will nonetheless be a joy to many that as matters progress, the vaccine programme continues, and restrictions are sensibly reduced we are able to return to this space that has been a place of prayer and praise for more than two centuries.

Of course, while the past year and more has been challenging, we do not know what the future has in store – other than that, like the past, it will feature both challenges and joys. In all of that, God will be with us, as God has continued to be with us over the past 15 months.

If you would like to join us in both worshipping God and exploring where God may be leading us over the coming months and years, we’d be delighted to welcome you.

Shalom, Tom
