We are a small group of photography enthusiasts who meet up on the Essex/Suffolk border. The club aims to provide a friendly environment for members to enjoy the development of their photographic skills through a variety of activities in the company of like-minded individuals.
Last month members enjoyed a PDI competition ‘Animals’, a presentation by Peter Warne ‘Night Time & Low Light Photography’ and a Prints Competition ‘Occupation’.
This month we are looking forward to:
13 April – PDI Competition ‘Slow Shutter Speed’ – Judge: Daphne Hanson DPAGB, APAGB.
27 April – Zoom-based presentation ‘Abandoned Architecture’ by James Kerwin.
30 April – Field Trip ‘Bluebells at Freston’.
Full details can be viewed on our website.
This month’s featured image is by Harvey Perkins ‘Classic Pairing’, which was one of the winners of a recent prints competition. We also continue to run our themed Facebook challenge. If you are interested in photography, at whatever level, you are welcome to come along to a free club meeting. We meet at Mistley Village Hall, on the second fourth and fifth Thursdays of the month between September and May at 7.30pm.
