Suffolk-based band The Silburys are to play a free concert at the Moon & Mushroom in Swilland on Bank Holiday Monday 31 May. The music will start at 2pm and, in line with the government’s Covid-19 guidelines, the concert will be held outside at the popular country pub – with table service for food and drink.

This will be The Silburys first live performance since summer 2020 and the band are delighted to be playing at the Moon & Mushroom, a winner of Best Country Pub in Suffolk and listed in the Mail on Sunday top 100 cosiest pubs in Britain.

The Silburys play a lively mix of folk/acoustic rock. Despite the Covid-19 lockdown restrictions of the last year, they have kept busy, including releasing their fourth CD – Live at Springfest – which has received airplay on folk and roots radio stations throughout the country, producing a number of videos, and providing theme and incidental music for podcasts by Suffolk broadcaster Emily Slade.
