What a strange few months it has been! We have missed seeing the children explore and learn at our playgroup and are saddened at the fact we might not see you all again. Please do pop by and say ‘hello’ when you are able to.
During the lockdown we sent our children sunflower seeds to grow in their gardens. They have been growing well and some are as tall as the children now. We also explored The Hungry Caterpillar story and shared photos of the caterpillars we found at home. We were able to observe the lifecycle and see how they change over time.
Unfortunately, we were unable to host our annual open morning this year, but we are still taking admissions for September, following government guidance on COVID-19 to ensure the safety of the children.
We are a small, friendly, traditional playgroup set in a beautiful rural location. The park is a short walk up the lane where we are able to explore our senses in the natural environment. We cater for children aged two to four years and provide activities and experiences to cover the areas as set out in the Early Years Foundation Stage. We believe children learn best in a stimulating environment where they can make their own choice.
Please have a look at our website and Facebook page to see what we can offer and please do not hesitate to contact us to ask any questions. We look forward to meeting some new faces in September.
We wish all our families a happy and safe summer and hope all the new school/nursery starters have a great start in the next steps of their learning adventures. We will miss you.
