The team at KWMCC hopes that you are all well and starting to get back to some sort of normality. We miss seeing all your smiling faces, especially our regular hirers who have become an important part of the KWMCC community.
Things are developing slowly within our sector and currently the community centre remains closed, in accordance with government guidelines.
During lockdown, we have taken time to update maintenance and refresh our function rooms. New COVID-19 measures are in place and a deep clean of all areas of the facilities has been a priority so that we can open safely.
Work has been completed on a fabulous new Pétanque pitch. Special thanks to SPARK and the Kesgrave Rollers who through funding have made this great outdoor activity available for all the family to enjoy. We are looking forward to offering pay and play fun as soon as we are able to open. Resurfacing of the tennis courts has begun, which will put Kesgrave on the map for state-of-the-art tennis facilities in this area.
We continue to progress quietly behind the scenes where possible and under strict measures. Skeleton staff are now working remotely on a part-time basis to help with your enquiries and bookings. We continue to work on plans for outdoor events and activities that can be easily managed under the guidelines.
