We returned on 10 January from our Christmas Break and look forward to another year of friendship. Our 2023 went out on a “High”.

In October, Chris Parfitt gave us a talk on his journey through Morocco which totalled to around 1000 miles. It was a very interesting to hear of the different ways of life people live.

We had a very successful Chocolate Stall at Henley Christmas Fayre on the 2 December and find it not too late to thank everyone who donated items and supported us on the day.

The following day was our Christmas Lunch which once again was cooked and served by the Henley Chefs together with their waitresses/waiter. It was delicious, as always, and thanks were given to them all at the time.

Our entertainment this year was The Barking Bellringers which we all thoroughly enjoyed a couple of members even had a go at joining them for a carol. After a long day, everyone went home tummies full, a Christmas present in their hand, and smiles on their faces.
