Hall Farm Shop Still Open

The Hall Farm Restaurant is closed for the foreseeable future but Hall Farm Shop is fully stocked and open from 9am till 5pm Monday to Saturday and 10am till 4pm on Sunday.

Hall Farm has been run by the Barrie family since 1927. The farm shop opened in 2001 and the restaurant situated in a converted 16th century cattle byer in 2006.

Meeting the demand for high quality, local product has always been the family’s priority and it is this which attracts customers from near and far. The extensive product range makes Hall Farm Shop the perfect place to do the weekly shop in one place, now more important than ever. You’ll find a range of homemade and seasonal produce, including a large range of vegetables and fruit, a deli counter, Hall Farm meat in the on-site butchery and home-baking. You can even pick up gifts and treats for special occasions.

The family has introduced some restrictions in order to keep shoppers and staff safe. Shoppers are required to maintain 2m distance, to shop alone and the number of shoppers allowed at one time is limited. Shopping at Hall Farm is safe but also calm and reassuring, which shoppers greatly appreciate right now.

The fully stocked shop has attracted many new customers in recent weeks and it’s clear the Barrie family’s commitment to providing local produce is a draw.

“Customers are especially keen to know where the produce they purchase has come from and really appreciative of the fact that so much is grown or raised locally, “ says Matt. “We’ve getting a lot of wonderful feedback. Many have commented on the fact that it’s far less stressful than visiting larger supermarkets and we’ve very proud of our staff who are always helpful and well informed about our product range. We’re also very thankful to everyone who has supported us and we’re quite excited about what the future holds.”

You can find out more about Hall Farm Shop online but you really need to visit to appreciate what’s on offer and to indulge your senses.
