The Over 50s Club meets on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month in the Parish Room, Stowmarket Road from 2-4pm. The cost per meeting is £4 and includes whatever activity is on, tea and biscuits, a raffle ticket and a three ticket bingo book.
Perhaps you are new to the area and this would be a nice way to meet new folk. There is a car park behind the hall and it is accessible to all including disabled toilet facilities. So do please get in touch. Over the past few months we have welcomed several new people to the club who all seem to be enjoying the interaction with the members
Our meetings involve a variety of quizzes, games and talks and the aim next year is to encourage members to participate in arranging an afternoon’s activities to add some variety.
Since last writing we visited Claydon Best Western Hotel and enjoyed a very nice Christmas meal there and were made to feel most welcome. Having seen our notice in this magazine we were pleased to welcome Carole Buddle and her dad John when we started back on 10th January.
Our meetings in February will be on the 13th and 27th.
