The club is held in the Parish Room, Stowmarket Road, Great Blakenham. There is a car park behind the hall and it is accessible to all including disabled toilet facilities.

We meet on Mondays from 2-4pm other than bank holidays from February until the first week in December on which day we have our AGM and Christmas party.

On the first Monday of the month, every member receives a workshop goody bag and I give a demonstration or talk about that month’s project. For the rest of the month, members either continue with the project or bring their own work. The cost of £3 per week also includes refreshments and an entry into the raffle draw.

For our workshop in August, we made Autumn wreaths and cards. Some of the wreaths became Halloween-inspired as everyone put their own interpretation on the items in their workshop bag.  In September we looked at some fabric art incorporating a take on Japanese Boro work and sashiko stitching to make a card and we also made a card using ribbon weaving.

The club is now full but if you are interested in joining us please let me know and I will put your name on a waiting list.
