With the reopening of shops, pubs and sports facilities, we can start to hope that our club will be meeting again in the not-so-distant future. If all goes according to the current roadmap, our first get-together will be on Tuesday 22 June. We thought we’d begin with an informal meeting, giving plenty of opportunity to chat and refresh friendships, to swap those books and puzzles that have occupied us through lockdown and possibly a short, and definitely easy, quiz. We will arrange a speaker for June 29 nearer the date.
Any new residents to the town, or anyone looking for new interests with our newly restored freedom, will be welcome to join us.
