Fresh Start, new beginnings festive events

Fresh Start, New Beginnings have launched their new festive events to raise crucial fund for children.

Before we know it, the festive season will be upon us and there’s no better time than Christmas to come together for fun and excitement. We have organised some fantastic events for all the family to help us raise crucial funds and we would love to ask everyone to consider taking part and supporting us by combining fun with fundraising. More children than ever need us, and with your help we can support even more young people and their families with our tailored therapeutic services.

“Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you need more information and let’s make these festive events a huge success!
“- FSnb Managing Director, Patsy Johnson-Cisse.

Cycle Santa

The first of our festive events, ‘Cycle Santa’ begins on 15 November, and we’re inviting local gyms to take part in a virtual challenge to cycle the 2621-mile distance from Ipswich to the North Pole.

Local businesses are also being invited to host their own Cycle Santa and organise a cycle ride for staff and colleagues any time in late November or December.

Finally, a Festive Fun Day will be held on Sunday 5 December in Ipswich, featuring an organised family cycle ride. Families and teams will leave Venue16 in Ipswich and cycle a 5-mile route before returning to the finish line where Father Christmas and his helpers will join the attractions, street food, local business stalls and many activities for the children.

Please join us in getting festive and get pedalling to support our work. We can’t wait to see everyone’s fantastic Santa selfies and pedalling pics.

Christmas Jumper Day

On the 10 December join the FSnb Team and wear the craziest Christmas jumper and help raise money towards our cause by texting in your donation. Spread the festive word and get your family, friends, or colleagues to join in.

Christmas Quiz

With in-person fundraising events back on the agenda, we are hosting our first Christmas Quiz on the 15 December at Venue16 in Ipswich. Teams can be made up of between two and six people and entry includes a chilli and rice dinner. Fantastic prizes and trophies will be presented to the winners.

It’s set to be a fantastic night out with some lovely food and prizes.  It’s a chance to take yourself off ‘mute’ and get together in person, all in support of our wonderful charity which provides such crucial services to young people who need our help.
