Saturday 1 to Sunday 16 April 

Explore the beautiful 75-acre Food Museum site as it springs into life, and celebrate Easter with our family fun activities including meeting the new lambs, making chocolate flavours, an Easter egg trail and hot cross bun baking in the bread oven. Each day there will be the chance to meet, hold and feed the orphan lambs and learn about the sheep flock with the Museum team at 11.30am and 3pm. These sessions are free with museum admission/membership.

On Monday’s and Thursday-Sunday, we’ll be firing up the bread oven this Easter, giving you the opportunity to have a go at making your own hot-cross buns and Easter Doves! You will get to shape their own hot-cross buns and whilst our dough is proving have a go at no-prove Easter Doves which we’ll be able to bake straight away. Come back later in your visit to collect the hot-cross buns you have made. Places are £5 per person and pre-booking is essential. Make sure to pick up your Easter trail from the shop at the start of your visit. Follow the trail around the museum site to complete our Easter-themed puzzles and see what fun things you can discover. Once you have completed the trail, visit the shop and receive a special chocolate treat!
