In the summer of 2014, a World War II veteran sneaks out of his care home to attend the 70th anniversary commemoration of the D-Day landings in Normandy.

“Superb performances from Michael Caine and Glenda Jackson ensure the latter’s final screen role is fittingly dignified.” – Empire.

The film starts at 8pm doors and ticket desk open at 7.30pm.

Films are held at the Constable Hall, Gandish Road, East Bergholt. Tickets are available for sale from Grier & Partners in East Bergholt or alternatively can be reserved by contacting Noelleen on: 01206 299 774.

It is advisable to buy or reserve tickets in advance as seating is limited. The bar will be open and teas, coffee, and ice creams will be available at the interval.
