Del White (Windrush Consortium) Talks Black Civil Rights At The Ipswich Institute

Del White, of the Windrush Consortium, is to deliver one of her lectures from the exclusive “Nubian Tales” series at the Ipswich Institute this upcoming Monday. This episode tackles The Black British Civil Rights.

Del recaps ‘the story of the Black civil rights movement is mostly hidden, even though it is actually quite extensive’. Her lecture will be highlighting and exploring the activism of some key individuals. It will be an interactive experience and include suggested resources for further interest and personal development.

Tickets are open to all – Ipswich Institute members and non-members – although are limited, to ensure Covid safe environment. They may be purchased online ( or in person at the Institute, 15 Tavern Street. £5 for members, £7 for non-members and £6 for concessions.
