East Bergholt Cricket Club is delighted to announce that the new Lion Brasserie in the heart of the village has made a significant donation to the club’s Crowdfunding initiative to ensure they hit their £20,000 target. The Lion Brasserie will be supporting the club’s new All-Stars and Dynamos cricket coaching programmes for children aged five to 10. This generous donation will ensure the cricket club receives a £6,000 grant from Sport England.
Discount for all club members at the Lion Brasserie
In addition to this sizeable donation, players, parents of junior members and social members will all receive 10% off their bill (food and drinks) on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings as well as Friday pizza nights. A new club membership card is being produced and will have to be shown to receive the discount.
Nathan Philpot, chairman of East Bergholt CC commented: “We are hugely thankful and appreciative to Jonathan Peachy, Ron Van Straalen, Sarah Wilson and all those at the Lion Brasserie for their support. This is a really exciting time for the club and I know our members will take advantage of this great offer to show our gratitude.”
Social membership at East Bergholt Cricket Club costs just £10 when paid via our Crowdfunder before May 14 and includes free entry into the 100 Club with cash prizes. Members can also enjoy low bar prices during match days on Saturdays at the sports ground on Gandish Road during the summer (subject to Covid-19 regulations).
