Claydon & Whitton Parish Council

We have an update from the lovely councillors at Claydon & Whitton Parish Council

We have an update from the councillors at the Claydon & Whitton Parish Council:

Annual Parish Meeting

The Annual Claydon and Whitton Parish Meeting will be held on 26 April 2021 via Zoom. This meeting is the opportunity for all the local electors of the parishes to get together and voice their opinions on matters raised on the agenda. This is not a parish council meeting, but the chairperson of the parish council presides over the meeting and local groups are invited to attend to report on their activities over the year. Please contact the clerk with any reports you wish to share or any suggested agenda items.

Recreation Ground Litter Picking

Many thanks and best wishes to the recreation ground litter picker, who is now off to pastures new. The Recreation Ground Management Committee is working on solutions going forward. In the meantime, please could everyone ensure that they are conscious of their litter and either use the bins provided or take rubbish home.

Dangerous Parking in the Village

Parish councillors have been made aware of several incidents of dangerous parking in the village and would ask that all residents take care to park in a way that does not obstruct the view of other motorists, particularly at junctions.

Parish Council Meetings

The parish council continues to hold meetings online as necessary. Please keep an eye on the website or our Facebook and Twitter feed for details about the location of meetings as members of the public are very welcome to attend both online and in-person meetings.
