Claydon and Barham Young Families

Young Families

In February we will be meeting on the 1, 15 and 29 February, 9.30–11.30am in the Claydon and Barham Village Hall.

A little information about us: Claydon and Barham Young Families is a Mother’s Union project which has been run by mothers union members and supporters for thirty two years! We welcome anyone, Mums, Dads, Carers, Grandparents from Claydon, Barham, Great Blakenham and the surrounding villages with babies or children under five, entry is just £2 per family. At our regular sessions we welcome anyone with babies or children under five for imaginative play and lots of fun.

Families can enjoy a different craft activity with a theme where children can be creative and try out different materials to produce an individual masterpiece. All sorts of toys will be available that encourage children’s imaginative play and physical and social development. For parents/carers it is a good opportunity to meet others with pre-school children or babies. There is also a prize draw for the children.

If you would like to attend Young Families you must now book in advance. Please email: for further information and to book your place. If you have already booked you will have received a confirmation email to let you know that a place has been allocated to you and the safety regulations of the village hall. Please do not just turn up at the Hall!

I look forward to seeing you, Michelle.
