A big thank you to everyone who donated items for our School Project. Kevin Parker set off to Poland on 9 June to meet with our partners and hand over all the aid we have collected plus the fantastic collection of school supplies – over 85kg collected!!

The school equipment was delivered on the last day of school and the teachers and staff were so excited they wanted to have photos taken with the boxes which were then taken away again to be prepared for installation and ready to be used on the return to school in September.

In addition, we have also sent over a ton of specifically requested aid for the newly opened Safe House. Our partners were really excited to hear about all the disability equipment donated by local people and included wheelchairs, bath hoists, mobility Aids and many more things which will be so very useful.

We are now looking forward to welcoming the six girls due to arrive with us on 6 July but due to the lack of operation during the Covid years, then followed by the War in Ukraine, we no longer have the stocks of clothing to give to the children. We have already got all the underwear, PJ’s, and toiletries in place but we are urgently looking for new or nearly new clothing for girls aged 9-11 plus second-hand trainers and wet/water shoes for use on the beach. If you can help please do get in touch, we have several drop-off points in local areas including Hadleigh, Needham Market, Stowmarket, and Bacton. It may be possible to arrange collection if needed. Thank you so much to everyone who supports our cause.
