During the past few weeks a lot of work has been undertaken at the Sports Pavilion with new ladies and gents toilets being installed as well as a new disabled toilet. New seating has been fitted in the four dressing rooms with the installation of some more modern showers also being installed with the football club now having the best facilities since the club was founded in 1969. The work was carried out by local skilled craftsman Richard who owns Anglia Accommodation and everyone at the club has said what a fantastic job he has done. Well done Richard.

We now run twenty sides with seventeen youth teams ranging from five to eighteen years making us one of the largest football clubs in Suffolk. All this takes a lot of work behind the scenes with the club grateful to all the managers and coaches who give up their spare time to help with the running of the sides that they look after.

Recent results from our two men’s teams saw the first team beaten at home by four goals to one by Bacton United with Adam Darbous scoring the Plough goal, while the reserves drew 2-2 with Woolvestone United in the reserve cup with goals from Oliver Miller and Dan Spore, before losing the dreaded penalty shoot out by three goals to two.
