Art Auction Raises More Than £9100 To Support Suffolk Families

Home-Start in Suffolk hosted their popular online art auction this month as well as a week-long exhibition in Aldeburgh raising a fantastic £9,107.

With the help of local artists, supporters and friends, the team at Home-Start in Suffolk hosted their popular online “Art Auction” featuring more than 100 amazing pieces including original works of local artists Theronda Hoffman, Allan Williams and Spadge Hopkins as well as collectible signed books from Suffolk artist Maggi Hambling!

Alison Watson, Fundraising and Marketing Manager at Home-Start in Suffolk said “We are absolutely delighted that the auction has been such a success again this year, smashing last year’s fundraising efforts and raising more than £9100!  We have been overwhelmed by the response and are beyond thrilled with the final total raised!”

The auction saw record numbers visiting the website page set up specifically for the event and the team at Home-Start couldn’t be more pleased with the enthusiasm and excitement that the auction has generated.
