Happy New Year! This will be my first one in Kesgrave, although not in Suffolk, having moved from Carlton Colville on the edge of Lowestoft. Arriving at Christmas is in some ways an excellent time to start as there are so many opportunities to get to know our new communities- but in other ways a terrible time to begin as you have to learn new ways of doing things very quickly- so I am grateful to the patience everyone has displayed!

Our dog Luna is getting to know our various walking routes around Kesgrave, and has already worked out where she is most likely to find an unexpected snack- her humans haven’t cottoned on to this as quickly as she has, so you may well have seen us tussling with her when we’re out and about.

New Years and new beginnings offer us the opportunity to make a fresh start. I wonder how many of us not only remember the Resolutions we made last January, never mind can say that we’ve managed to keep them for a whole year? We often start off well but then falter. Fortunately for us, if this happens to our faith, we know that God will be there to pick us up and put us back on the right path. If you want to know more about this, or any other matters of faith, why not come and join us at one of our services, listed below. And if you do, I hope you’ll come and say hello to one of your newest residents!
